Un 2023 leggero! - An uplifting 2023!

Questa fustella Layered Plaid di Tim Holtz mi ha fatto innamorare dal primo momento in cui l'ho vista e, dopo averla a lungo corteggiata, alla fine me la sono regalata per Natale! Durante le feste non ho avuto occasione di provarla e quindi ho pensato di usarla per questa card, la prima del nuovo anno.

Per realizzarla ho tagliato le due parti della fustella di base in due colori che amo molto insieme, viola e rosso, incollandole su una card di base bianca. Ho voluto usare anche altro materiale che non ero ancora riuscita a provare, come il set di timbri Really High Five di Lawn Fawn, da cui ho preso il coniglietto, il palloncino e il sentiment, e il set di fustelle Henry's 123s sempre di Lawn Fawn per i numeri. 

Ho timbrato il coniglietto con inchiostro Crinchy Leaf di Lawn Fawn, colorandolo poi con i pennarelli Copic e aggiustando le ombreggiature e i dettagli con le matite Prismacolor; anche al coniglietto ho dato un tocco di rosso nel nasino e di viola nell'interno delle orecchie. Per i numeri e il palloncino invece ho usato del foam glitterato oro, che fa sempre un po' atmosfera di festa. Ho completato la card legando il coniglietto al palloncino con del twine viola e bianco, proprio come se il palloncino stesse sollevando il piccolo coniglietto, e ho poi inserito anche il banner bianco on il sentiment timbrato in viola.

L'augurio che vi faccio con questa card è che questo anno possa essere leggero, che vi porti in alto e alla scoperta di luoghi meravigliosi e colorati...dopo tutto, un po' di leggerezza ce la meritiamo tutti!

With the beginning of the new year I wanted to try some new stuff I bought. On of the new things I used in this card is the wonderful Sizzix Layered Plaid die by Tim Holtz...I really love it, I was in love with it in the exact moment I saw it. I also used Lawn Fawn Really High Five stamp set and Henry's 123s die, not so new in their collection, but new for me. I started cutting the two pieces of the background base in red and violet, I love this color combo! I stamped the rabbit with Lawn Fawn Crunchy Leaf ink and colored it with Copic markers adding details with Prismacolors pencils. Then I cut out the baloon and the numbers in glitter gold foam and I used violet twine to tide the rabbit to the baloon. The last touch was to add the banner with the sentiment. With this card let me wish you a very uplifting new year...I really hope it will bring lightness and joy to all of us, because we deserve a little lightness in our life! Thanks for stopping by!
