A stelle (senza strisce) - Stars (without stripes)

Ho creato questa card per una laurea di qualche tempo fa. Ve la mostro oggi...ho pensato che tutte queste stelle potessero essere adatte al 4 luglio! Certo, per evocare degnamente la bandiera statunitense mancano le strisce, ma dicono che conti il pensiero...

Si tratta di una shaker card in cui la parte shaker è a forma di stella, con sequins a forma di stella, decorata con stelle di cartoncino rosso e di cartoncino ondulato color craft. Insomma una card stellare.

La scritta "congrats" è  ritagliata con la fustella Zipper Panel di Ellen Hutson in gomma crepla glitterata oro, che dovrebbe coordinare con le stelline sequins, anche se hanno un tono di colore leggermente diverso.

Per realizzare questa card sono partita dalla creazione delle stelle. Mi piaceva molto l'idea di abbinare il cartoncino ondulato craft con il rosso, colore delle lauree. Peccato che poi non riuscivo ad abbinare nessuna base...alla fine ho ripiegato su un cartoncino brillante, con un colore tra oro e rame...una fatica!
Insomma con tutte queste stelle non mi resta che augurarvi buon 4 luglio!


I made this card for a graduation some weeks ago, but I thought to post it today...all of these stars remind me a lot about 4th of July...yes, there are no stripes, but I hope you appreciate the effort!
It is actually full of stars, there is a shaker star, with golden star sequins and other decorative stars in red and craft cardstock. For the sentiment I used the Zipper Panel die from Ellen Hutson, that was die cutted in golden glitter foam.
After choosing my color combo and creating all the stars it has been very hard for me to find the right color for the base panel...then I found in my stash that brilliant cardstock, a color in between gold and copper.
What else to say? Happy 4th of July to all of you!
