Verde Natale in tazza - Green Christmas in a mug

Per questo mese il tema della sfida del blog Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge era il verde, così ho pensato di realizzare una shaker card che avesse questo colore come predominante.

Ho scelto uno sfondo verde scuro, su cui ho timbrato ed embossato in oro uno dei sentiment del set Mixed Holiday Greetings di Mama Elephant. Per la tazza ho usato il set di fustelle Stitched Mug Frame di Lawn Fawn, usando una carta pattern in tono, piena di piccole foglie di pungitopo. Con le stesse fustelle ho anche tagliato il cucchiaino in oro, mentre i piccoli omini di pan di zenzero sono fustelle del set Retro Oven di Tim Holtz, che ho poi decorato con la penna gel bianca. 

Diciamo che con l'arrivo della primavera e delle giornate più calde è difficile farsi ispirare dalle atmosfere natalizie, ma la shaker mi mette sempre di buon umore e quindi è stato facile assemblare una card.

This month theme on the Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge blog was Green, so I decided to create a shaker mug for a green background card. For the mug I used Lawn Fawn Stitched Mug Frame using a pattern paper with tiny mistletoe, cutting out also a little spoon from a golden cardstock, while the little gingerbread cookies are from Tim Holtz Retro Oven die, decorated with a white gel pen. The sentiment is gold embossed using a stamp from Mama Elephant Mixed Holiday Greetings. Simple, but I always love to make shakers...they are so much fun!
